Scope:
This tenant finish project consisted of the
architectural design of a 2,100sf dental office.
Design Objective:
The goal of this project was to simply provide a nice
space, with good flow, on a moderate budget. High
cost items like the mosaic tiles on the reception desk
were minimized in quantity, but placed to add the
most impact. Mid-range porcelain floor tiles and
maple trim were then used to compliment the
mosaics. All other finish materials were kept modest
in cost. The floor plan was designed with a simple
"shot gun" style, with operatories on one side and
services on the other side of the main circulation
space. The overall effect is a clean, simple and
beautiful space.
Elements:
- 4 patient chairs
- fully enclosed operatories with pocket doors
- mosaic tiles used as accent on reception desk
- simple "shot gun" style floor plan
